Ann
has more than 20 years of experience in working with
organizations to improve workforce performance. Prior
to founding CEP, she served as Director of the Centers
for Disease Control's Instructional System Division.
As Executive Vice President, Managing Partner, and co-founder
of The Center for Effective Performance, Ann works with
clients to identify strategies for improving job performance.
She and her staff assist clients worldwide by analyzing
job performance problems and designing cost-effective
solutions. Their work has been recognized by many professional
organizations and has received numerous national and
international awards for the quality of their work.
Ann
is a certified Mager Associate who delivers Dr.
Robert
Mager's renowned train-the-trainer workshops. She is
past president of the International Society for
Performance
Improvement and a past president of the Atlanta ISPI
chapter, and has received their "Certified Performance
Technologist" designation for her contributions to
the field. She has published widely on different
aspects of the
field
of performance
technology.
She
has
co-authored
numerous chapters in professional textbooks, including
What Smart Trainers Know (Jossey-Bass/Pfeiffer,
2001), the Handbook of Human Performance Technology
(ISPI/Jossey-Bass/Pfeiffer, 1999) and Getting Results:
Case Studies in Performance Improvement (HRD Press,
1998). She has also co-authored (with Seth Leibler)
a chapter in The Guidebook for Performance Improvement
(Pfeiffer, 1997) and Introduction to Performance
Technology (NSPI, 1986). She has been published
extensively in Workforce Training News and
served as a contributing editor to Corporate
University Review.
