Seth
is President and CEO of The Center for Effective Performance.
He has been in the business of improving human performance
for 30 years, as both an executive within organizations
and a consultant to organizations. Prior to founding
CEP, Seth managed one of the six operating centers within
the Centers for Disease Control, the Center for Professional
Development and Training.
Organizations
Seth has managed have won 20 national and international
awards for the quality of their work. He is a past President
of the International Society for Performance Improvement
(ISPI) and has been recognized by seven ISPI Executive
Boards for Outstanding Contributions to the Field of
Performance Technology.
Seth
has published widely on different aspects of the field
of performance technology. Most recently, he co-wrote
a chapter with Ann Parkman and Karen VanKampen for What
Smart Trainers Know (Jossey-Bass/Pfeiffer, 2001).
He has also co-authored (with Ann Parkman) a chapter
in the second edition of the Handbook of Human Performance
Technology (ISPI/Jossey-Bass/Pfeiffer, 1999), The
Guidebook for Performance Improvement (Pfeiffer,
1997) and Introduction to Performance Technology
(NSPI, 1986). He has been published extensively in Workforce
Training News and served as a contributing editor
to Corporate University Review.
Seth
holds a doctorate in Educational Psychology. He is a member of the American Psychological Association.
